Hey folks, I'm a bit new to the board, but I'll try not to show it. I've got a Fox F80 RLT fork that I'd like to overhaul, and I've got some questions: For starters, does anyone know a method of determining what year a Fox suspension fork is? I'm nearly positive I know (04), but I can look at the serial number and tell from that, that'd be even better, I'd hate to order the wrong rebuild kit.

1. Fox F80 Rl Review

Does anyone know what RLT stands for? I'm assuming R-rebound, L-lockout, T-? The reason I ask is I haven't found much info on the RLT forks, but there seems to be a ton of info about RLC forks on the Fox website, exploded schematics, diagrams, videos, etc.

Maybe there's a small enough difference I could use an RLC diagram to guide me through a RLT rebuild? Probably wishful thinking. This is probably a pretty elementary question, but are the F-series Fox forks Float forks?

Owners manuals. I'm thinking no, but looking at the owner's manual on how to change fork oil it looks like they group the F80 RLT under Float forks, which is confusing. Hopefully that isn't all jibberish.
